A very long weekend

This will be a very long and cold weekend. Here in Northern Virginia the temperature was on the teens today. Schools remained open thou, so I had to go to work. Fortunately this weekend is going to be very long. We are observing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday on Monday and the Inauguration on Tuesday. I have no plans for Tuesday either. I will stay home and watch the inauguration at my house. Definitely I am not planning on moving more than 15 miles from my area on that day. There are reports that traffic is going to be crazy and they are recommending people to use the metro if planning on going to DC. Well, I will use my day off to sew...maybe.

Hey Liz. I'm like you. I ain't going no where. :-) I work in Northern VA (Fairfax Co) and we're off work. Maybe I'll add more pics and aspirations to my blog, or practice sewing. Who knows? Main thing is--let's get some rest. Take care and enjoy!

That's unusually cold for you guys, isn't it? We hit single digits here on Long Island. I hate winter.
Yep, it's a good time to stay inside and sew!
